A few reminders about Friday, February 14:
All valentine deliveries must be at the school before 10 am.
Dismissal is at 12:15.
There will be no kindergarten bus. Students can ride the bus home if they live on a regular bus route. Otherwise, they must be picked up at school.
There is no Pre-K.
No School on Monday, February 17 in honor of President's Day.

Join us for Math Night at Allendale School on February 18 from 5:00 - 7:00. There will be fun activities, like an escape room, geometric drawings, bingo, and Math flowers. This is available to all students. Please send in the RSVP to let us know how many students to prepare for. Another form will go home this afternoon. Can't wait to see you.
Student Council Valentine Sales start on Monday!
Parents, Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, etc may come and purchase your child a Valentine treat between 7:30-8:00 AM next week. Delivery will be on 2/14 for Kindergarten through 8th graders. (PK treats will need to be delivered on 2/13 due to them not having class on the 14th.)
On Monday, February 3, Allendale School will host a pep assembly to recognize our winter sport athletes. We will recognize the Lady Rocket's basketball team, the Allendale Yellowjacket's basketball team, and the cheerleaders for both teams. We will begin at 1:45 at Allendale School. All are welcome to attend.
Boys Basketball will participate in the C-team tournament at Clay City on Saturday, February 1st. The first game will be at 9:00 am in the new gym.

Congratulations to Hallie Courter, Allendale School Alumni and Senior at MCHS and Jaylyn McCleave, 7th grader at Allendale School! Both students advanced to district level in VFW essay contests. Hallie did the Voice of Democracy essay. Jaylyn did The Patriot's Pen essay. The banquet was held today in Olney at the VFW Post 4226. They were both in the top 12 at the District level! Thank you to Mt. Carmel VFW Post 4276 for inviting the girls to represent Wabash County.
Reminder- Allendale School will not be in session on Monday, January 20 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Enjoy the 3 day weekend.

Due to all of the snow days, there will be changes to the menu. We will let you know the rest of the week as soon as we can. For Tuesday, January 14, the menu will be: Breakfast- Scrambled Eggs Lunch- Boneless Wings The alternate will be ham sandwich.
The Class of 2029 is hosting a dance on February 1 from 7-9 PM for all Wabash County students in grades 6-8. Admission is $5.00.
