Kindergarten and 8th grade Buddies did an experiment this morning with "Apple Volcanoes." Afterwards, they spent some time reading with their buddies in the library.
7th grade was able to bring their cards from September 11 to the Allendale Fire Department. We appreciate all you do for us.
Kindergarten ended ABC Bootcamp today with a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Day celebration! They had an ABC fashion show for all the reading buddies. Then made their own Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Trees for snacks.

On Friday, September 25th, Allendale CCSD 17 will have an early dismissal at 1:15 pm. This will be in order to provide students and employees an opportunity to paraticipate and observe the MCHS Homecoming parade.
Kindergarten celebrated Dot day by reading "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds and creating their own giant dot together as a class.
Kindergarten has been busy learning about seasons and Maple trees! They had a syrup taste test and pancakes for snack. They learned you can tell the difference between pure maple syrup and pancake syrup.
After students learned about September 11, they made cards for our first responders. Today we were able to deliver them. Thank you to all of our first responders for all of your hard work.
Congratulations to our 2nd grade students that have already gotten 50 points. Great job!!

Our Allendale Junior High students are kicking off their Fall ’26 Fundraiser today! Students will be asking friends and family to sponsor a date on their calendar—the amount donated matches the date selected.
Every donation helps support our Junior High students, and students who sell $50 or more will earn a special treat! 💙
