It’s time for Dairy Dee Ice Cream. Our school-wide fundraiser will be happening for the next 2 weeks, as the time is drawing near for them to open for the season. Make sure to spread the word, as people all around are craving Dairy Dee Ice Cream.


Yellow Jackets Basketball will be having a Parents vs. Players basketball game, as well as a Chili Supper on February 10th at 6 pm. Admission and Chili are FREE WILL DONATION. Community is invited and encouraged to bring the whole family to enjoy some basketball and chili.


In game 1 of the SIJHSAA Class S Regional at St. Joe, the Yellow Jackets took on West Salem. After one quarter, the Yellow Jackets led 13-6 and continued their lead at the half by the score of 18-10. After three quarters, the Yellow Jackets had increased their lead to 28-13. The final score ended with the Yellow Jackets on top, 34-21. Scoring for the Yellow Jackets was: Tim Harness with 12 points, John Hefner with 8 points, Ryland Houchin with 8 points, Jaxon Morris with 4 points, and Landon Wilford with 2 points. With the win, the Yellow Jackets move to the semi-final round of the Regional against the #1 seed St. Joe Wildcats on Thursday at 6:00 pm.

On Friday, January 20th, Allendale Elementary School held its annual Spelling Bee. All of the students had participated in their grade-level Spelling Bee earlier in the month and the top 2 from each grade advanced to the finals. The winner, in 17 rounds on the word "joggled", was eighth grader Ava Bates. We ended with a tie for runner-up, with eighth grader Kate Andrews and seventh grader Conner McGinnis. Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Spelling Bee. They did a great job!




IT'S FUNDRAISER TIME!! The Elementary students are doing a fundraiser for our field trips. We are selling McDonald's Fundraising Cards. They can be used all over the tristate area! The card is only $10! It will pay for itself with only one or two uses! Contact any elementary student to purchase a card, or contact Audrey McGee at amcgee@allendaleschool.net to get yours! They will be delivered to all students on February 2nd! Thank you so much for your support!

Cisne 7th Grade Boys Basketball Tournament Information.



On Tuesday, Boy’s Basketball will be at home starting at 5:15 pm against West Salem. On Wednesday, it will be 8th grade night as we take on Albion starting at 6 pm. Also on Wednesday, the concession stand will have Pulled Pork sandwiches available. Thank you Phillip Potts.

Just a reminder: school will not be in session at Allendale CCSD 17 on Monday. We will be back in session on Tuesday. Thank you.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 10th, after-school tutoring will begin for the second semester. Students will be working from 3:15-4:00 pm. Please be prepared to pick your child up at 4:00 pm. If you have decided to remove your child from tutoring, or have interest in your child coming to after-school tutoring, please contact Mrs. Brogan at cbrogan@allendaleschool.net.

Mrs. McGee and Mrs. Tarpley's classes opted out of a gift exchange this year. They decided to donate items to Safe Haven. Receiving the donations for Safe Haven was Renee Thread.
