Congratulations to Hallie Courter, Allendale School Alumni and Senior at MCHS and Jaylyn McCleave, 7th grader at Allendale School! Both students advanced to district level in VFW essay contests. Hallie did the Voice of Democracy essay. Jaylyn did The Patriot's Pen essay. The banquet was held today in Olney at the VFW Post 4226. They were both in the top 12 at the District level! Thank you to Mt. Carmel VFW Post 4276 for inviting the girls to represent Wabash County.

Due to all of the snow days, there will be changes to the menu. We will let you know the rest of the week as soon as we can. For Tuesday, January 14, the menu will be: Breakfast- Scrambled Eggs Lunch- Boneless Wings The alternate will be ham sandwich.
The Class of 2029 is hosting a dance on February 1 from 7-9 PM for all Wabash County students in grades 6-8. Admission is $5.00.

12 Days of Christmas: Favorite Holiday Accessories! (Day 11)
Members of the student council packaged up “goodie bags” that will be going out to people in our community this morning. These bags are filled with all kinds of snacks, fruit, candy, and homemade cards! A big thank you to the Allendale Ruritan Club, Circle-A Servolution, the Allendale Christian Church, and Allendale Student Council for making these Christmas gifts happen!

12 Days of Christmas: Cozy Flannel! (Day 10)
On Friday, December 20th, Allendale School will have its annual Christmas Program. The program will begin at 12:15 pm in the gym, and students will be dismissed from their classroom at the conclusion of the program (typically around 1:00-1:15 pm), and buses will run shortly thereafter. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Students will return to school on Monday, January 6th.
